Rohit Bal presented the LFW grand finale inspired by the Lakmé Absolute Fast & Fabulous woman Opulence, glamour, design and absolute beauty defined the Lakmé Grand Finale with Rohit Bal, for Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2012. With rich, exceptionally textured garments in shades of ivory, indigo and jewel tones, Bal enamoured the audience with his collection inspired by the Lakmé Absolute Fast & Fabulous woman.
Akin to the designer’s inimitable style, Lakmé for the first time hosted the Grand Finale at the lawns of the Grand Hyatt. Pristine ivory pillars served as a backdrop for stunning models that walked down the ramp in mesmerising creations in a selection of elegant fabrics, colours and silhouettes.
Thrilled with the resounding success of the finale, Bal said, “It has been such a privilege and a beautiful experience to put together this collection for the Lakmé Grand Finale. Lakmé has always been a pioneer in marrying beauty with fashion in India as they understand the contemporary Indian woman.”
